What is Thrive Business Support?
Thrive Business Support is an operations consulting firm based in Houston, Texas serving entrepreneurs, nonprofits, and creatives as they begin or complete their God-assignments. This firm stewards the plans, people, projects, and processes that drive sustainable, impactful growth for those who are about the Father’s business. Through strategic planning, project management, and operations consulting, God-led brands are able to see their assignment through while evolving from survival mode into thriving brands. Our vision is to help God-led brands live abundantly, serve impactfully, and leave a legacy of holistic wealth for the generations to come.
Why did Nikki Harrison start the Thrive Business Support Operations Firm?
I grew up surrounded by family, friends, and community members with immense talent and incredible business potential. Sure, they started businesses and sold their wares, but never reached the level of sustainability all entrepreneurs aspire towards. Even as a child, I longed to see these businesses produce steady income and deep impact. With a lack of access to capital, underutilized business resources, and no skilled team to power these businesses, they often did not reach their full potential. I continued to see these family, friends, and community members struggle and lack, while the generations that came after them were forced to start from scratch. I built Thrive Business Support to free businesses like these from mere survival and empower them to thrive! Not just for today, but for the generations to come.
That’s why Thrive Business Support exists. The core mission is to enable generational time, health, & financial wealth to Christian creatives of color so historically marginalized communities build scalable businesses and lucrative legacies; to God’s glory and for His purposes.
I deeply believe that with well stewarded brands as the vehicle, multi-hyphenate Christian creatives can live a testimony of abundance, use their talents for reverberating Kingdom impact, and leave a legacy of holistic wealth for future generations.
Who is Nikki Harrison?
Professionally Speaking:
After graduating from high school, I worked abroad as a contractor before studying Education, Human Resource Management, and Nonprofit Management during my collegiate years. Prior to this career, I have worked as a Leasing Professional, HR Manager, Event Planner, and Administrative Assistant before founding my operations consulting firm, Thrive Business Support. I am now a certified Director of Operations and Managing Consultant at Thrive Business Support.
Personally Speaking:
On the surface: I am a born-again, saved by grace, child of God and follower of Jesus Christ; I am the wife of Michael and the mommy of Jacob and Gabrielle; a born & bred Texan; a daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. A little deeper: I am equal parts “planner” + “dreamer”. A creative person who writes poetry, loves the arts, and sings daily. I love to laugh with friends over a delicious meal, have dance parties with my husband and two kids, and watch ‘corny’ movies with notoriously predictable plots. I nerd out on all things business development, organization, and music. I have a music playlist for every occasion (and it’s likely better than yours. Lol). I have never said no to a cute pair of earrings, a quoted mug, or stationary of any kind. You can find me in blue or black jeans, a white tee, and gold hoop earrings 75% of the time. I’m a proud creature of habit who is powered by Jesus and strategic routines™.
